Flooding back home

This is too close for comfort. My family and friends aren't quite in the actual flood zone, and neither is our house, but all the same...

That's a spectacular view of Sydney, though.

A Christian friend of mine in Sydney yesterday quoted a biblical passage about how God made the hills & the grass & the rain, then followed up with how he was enjoying the weather and what harm did a bit of rain do to anyone...

I pointed out that the rain in Sydney was being caused by the same low-pressure system flooding northern NSW. In reply, he simply mentioned God's will.

Apparently, God is flooding northern NSW to give him a nice gentle rain.
